Moderator guides
|
Depending on the needs of the clients, NMR can provide a detailed moderator guide or a brief outline guide. Whether in outline or detailed form, guides created by NMR always reflect the specific objectives of the project. “Nice to Know” questions are always avoided. Instead NMR asks questions that focus on the purpose of the research.

In additions to moderator guides that meet the objective of the research, NMR also uses many innovative techniques in their question development. Some of the questioning styles used by NMR include:
- Visual and Auditory Interventions
- Paper and Pencil Tasks
- Process Interventions
- “What if” scenarios
- Personifications
- Associations
- Collage
- Secret Pooling
- Sub-Group Tasks on a Whole Groups Setting
Along with the traditional forms of questions in qualitative research, NMR also employs specialized qualitative techniques such as:
- Laddering
- Hierarchical Vales Map
- Photo Sort
